ABOUT RITIKA

Ritika Gupta is a senior at Amador Valley High School. She is the co-founder and Chief Content Officer of Wisdocity, an AI and content company. 

​

She has also had the pleasure of being part of the Kode With Klossy 2021 cohort for web design. Along with the amazing KWK community, Ritika gained knowledge in HTML, CSS, and Javascript in addition to learning Java at her school and self-learning Python. Ritika also took courses on data science and machine learning while researching and creating an AI platform.

As an avid filmmaker (and watcher), Ritika hopes to learn more about the media and entertainment world. She attended the NYU Pre-College program in the summer where she took classes on the business and creative aspects of filmmaking. Additionally, she is taking classes on screenwriting to gain the knowledge needed to pursue film directing, producing, and writing.

She is one of the AVtv Editor-in-Chiefs for the 2023-2023 school year. For the 2021-2022 school year, she was the AmadorValleyToday Arts and Entertainment editor and World News and Politics editor. She aims to inform others about current events through her position and works hard to find unbiased information and perspectives from multiple sides.

She has volunteered for the TiECon 2022 Youth Track where she was the Media Infotainment high school chair. She gained valuable networking and working experience, as well as gained skills in marketing.

Ritika loves to spend time with her family, including her dog, Rocky. Her hobbies include coding, filming, and writing. She loves to travel and has been to many domestic and international places, her favorite being Amsterdam. In her free time, Ritika loves to listen to music, watch comedy movies, and bake soft chocolate chip cookies. In the future, she wants to go to college to get a film and computer science degree.
